DescriptionThis HF active monopole whip antenna is designed for easy mounting on vehicles and structures with a ground
plane. It can also be used for fixed applications where there is noground plane as the mounting is on top of a
mast. For this application there are ground radials that screw into the base at 90 degrees to the mast.
This antennas’ radiation pattern is suitable for medium to long range HF monitoring. The antenna uses an operational amplifier as the active component for the antenna which allows it to operate over a wide HF frequency range of 100 KHz to 60 MHz.
