DescriptionThe Discone antenna is a vertically polarized, wideband omni-directional antenna for receiving applications. The
wideband design results in a nearly constant radiation pattern over a wide frequency range.
It is a rugged antenna assembly well suited for mobile or fixed operation on land or sea.
The antenna is consequently made of high quality materials the antenna elements are made of an aluminium alloy and protected against corrosion. All other hardware is made of stainless steel, and the insulation is made of GRP. A preamplifier improves the receiving capabilities on low frequencies.
